Beykoz glassmaking, which was started in Istanbul, is actually related to the 3000-year-old historical identity of Mediterranean Glassmaking. After the Eastern Mediterranean, the invitation of Venetian glasswork to the palaces in the Ottoman lands and the establishment of the first glass factory in Beykoz had an impact on the creation of glass works known as the 'Beykoz Work' identity.
The reason why glassmaking has been industrialized for centuries, especially in the Beykoz region, is that the beaches of the Beykoz region have sandy beaches.
