Ozan Ünal was born in 1974 in Izmir. After receiving his primary, secondary and high school education in Izmir, he entered the Graphic Department of Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts. He left this department in the middle and moved to the Fashion and Accessories department of the same faculty. During his education, he received awards in design competitions such as Beymen Academia Design Competition and Leather Days Design Competition. He represented Turkey at the SAGA International Design Center Young Designer Seminar in Denmark. He graduated in 2000 with his thesis "Restricted Imagination-Designer Perspective". In 2001, he established the Atölye Pi Design and Art Workshop in İzmir Karşıyaka.

He opened personal exhibitions in Istanbul and Izmir. His works have been exhibited in international fairs such as Art NewYork and Art Miami.

He still continues his artistic works in various disciplines, mainly sculpture, in his own workshop in Izmir.
